San Diego, CA, September 18, 2020 – The San Diego Chorus is pleased to announce new singing Sweetheart Grams! Continued social distancing measures have changed the way we celebrate special occasions, but the San Diego Chorus of Sweet Adelines International has created another memorable way to celebrate your loved one with a song.

The San Diego Chorus was recently featured on San Diego CBS News 8 segment, The Zevely Zone, discussing how the pandemic has affected them, their rehearsal and performance schedule, and how the need to continue fundraising efforts culminated with the creation of the original Grams.

"We’ve had such success with our Birthday Grams, we decided to continue producing fun Grams with innovative songs that can be sent as personalized greetings. It’s now part of our ongoing fundraising efforts, since we’ve been unable to book live performances, as we have in the past" said Andrea Chertkow, Business Development Coordinator and San Diego Chorus member.

The standard, "Let Me Call You Sweetheart" is a song that The San Diego Chorus has long sung as a singing valentine. It is such a simple and touching love song. The Chorus has delivered it in person for many special occasions; marriage proposals, anniversaries, Valentine’s Day, of course, and to couples of all kinds.

"These Sweetheart Grams are the perfect gift for a special occasion, or to just show someone you are thinking about them during this unique time when we are physically apart. It’s a simple way to stay connected to your loved ones" Andrea concluded.

The San Diego Chorus will create an acapella, Sweetheart Gram that includes a personalized message from the sender. It’s a unique, memorable, and a safe way to celebrate friends and family.
