Join a Practice, Performance, or Competitive Quartet

Quartet singing is a foundational and celebrated aspect of women's a cappella Barbershop singing. Whether for practice, performance or competition, quartetting helps to fast-track musical skills, ensemble singing and stage presence. Great care is taken in matching voices within a quartet in respect to vocal range, transitions, and timbre. Competitive Quartets must register with Sweet Adelines International and their respective region. Quartets may compete annually at the regional level and internationally on a two year cycle. International Quartet Champions are designated as Queens of Harmony and receive a custom designed coronet. Sweet Adelines International and respective regions host workshops and musical education events to support quartet development.

SoloVoce

​SoloVoce is the 2025 Region 21 Golden West Second Place Quartet. The foursome placed third in 2024 and was named 2023 Region 21 Quartet Champions. A registered quartet of Sweet Adelines International, SoloVoce formed in 2015, the quartet includes members from two choruses based in San Diego and Orange County, California. The award-winning quartet performs frequently at choral, community, and private events, and hosts an annual Music on the Porch Day in Harmony Grove, California.

Nick of Time
Nick of Time​ is a registered quartet of Sweet Adelines International. Formed in 2022, Nick of Time includes singers from the San Diego Chorus and Vista Hills Chorus. The group performs 4-part a cappella harmony and connected over a shared love of music from past eras. Nick of Time performs locally and regionally at choral and community events. Sonic Bloom

Sonic Bloom is a registered quartet of Sweet Adelines International. Formed in 2024, Sonic Bloom includes singers from the award-winning San Diego Chorus. Sonic Bloom sings to heal themselves and their community. Sonic Bloom performs locally and regionally at choral and community events. Quartet Members include:
