Let's get the 2026 Region 21 Competition Convention off to a great start with a fun and music-filled night.  Hosted by Club 21 Association of Regional Quartet Champions. This is an annual fundraiser that helps Club 21 to support our regional quartets that qualify to compete at the international level. Each person participating is asked to register, please. Join us in the Renaissance Phoenix Downtown Main Ballroom at 7:30 pm. Preview performances by the 2025 Region 21 Quartet Contestants and Club 21!

All competing quartets are invited to perform one song (must not be a part of their contest set).  The Club 21 Chorus will perform as well.

Region 21 Events
  • Thursday, April 9, 4 PM - 5 PM: OC Sound presents The International Journey, in the Goldwater Room.  This panel discussion will highlight the journey of attending international for 2 years in a row, covering many topics.

  • Thursday, April 9, 7:30 PM - 9:30 PM: Club 21 will be hosting a Quartet Jamboree in the Renaissance Main Ballroom. All competing quartets are invited to perform one song (must not be a part of their contest set). This is an annual fundraiser that helps Club 21 support our regional quartets that qualify to compete at the international level.

  • Friday, April 10, 10 AM - 11 AM: Regional Meet and Greet Welcome Reception in the Goldwater Room. All members are invited to gather over coffee and welcome our newest members who joined Region 21 in 2025.  Guest speaker, Susan Smith, SAI executive team member, will speak to philanthropy.

  • Friday, April 10, 11 AM - 12 PM: Serenade Quartet presents 12 Steps to Learning Music in the Goldwater Room. This interactive class explores the 12 essential steps to learning music in a practical, hands-on way. Each step will be demonstrated using musical tags so you can see and experience how music is learned effectively. Serenade may even perform a song or two!

  • Saturday, April 11, 8 PM - 10 PM: Harmony Showcase will be held in the Renaissance Ballroom. There will be a special presentation to the Honolulu Blend chorus, membership and quartet awards, DCP recognition, and RMT introductions.  Plus performances by the San Diego Chorus, Serenade, Enchanted Mesa Chorus, and  top-winning choruses and quartets 

  • Saturday, April 11, 10 PM - Wee Hours: Chorus Afterglow Don’t go to bed yet! The San Diego Chorus has rented a party suite for social time, pictures, singing tags, and for choruses and visiting quartets to entertain. Food and drinks may be brought into the room. We have not been assigned a particular room yet, but it will be on the 2nd floor in one of the Renaissance. There is no singing in the residential/suites of the hotel. Please avoid vocalization in these sadly joy-free zones. :(

  • Sunday, April 12, 9 AM - 11:30 AM: Chat with the Judges in the Renaissance Ballroom, bring your own coffee 😀

  • Boutique - The Boutique is conveniently located in Salons 1 & 2, second floor.
