It's finally here!

​What an incredible journey we've been co-creating over the last few years. We have shared captivating, artistic moments together during rehearsals, recharges, and performances - and it's time to share our gift with the Sweet Adeline audience.

I know that you've offered hours of personal time and energy toward your own improvement and the good of the team. We are so very lucky that we get to do what we do - and do it with one another!

Please pause and breathe throughout the week to take in the beauty and expansiveness of the experience. I cannot wait to take to the international stage with you!

​As you prepare to take the stage for International, remember that this moment is about more than just competition—it's about sharing your passion and connecting with others through your art. Trust in your voice and the hard work you’ve put in. Embrace the energy of the crowd and let it fuel your performance.

No matter the outcome, the courage to share your talent and story is what truly matters. Believe in yourself and sing with all your heart. You are capable of amazing things—go out there and shine!  You've got this!

To my Chorus Family!

As we make our final preparations for this incredible competition, I want to take a moment to remind you all of how far we've come and how prepared we are for the magic ahead. Thursday is bound to be A Wonderful Day, filled with opportunity, harmony, and the chance to let our lights shine on that stage. When you walk onto that stage, embrace the moment fully. Feel the joy we’ve cultivated together and keep Smilin' Through!

Each of you brings something unique and extraordinary to our chorus; that collective energy is what fuels our Greatest Show. As we sing our hearts out, remember that this is a special experience. We Will Never Pass This Way Again, so let’s seize every nuance, every anticipated breath, every emotion, and make this competition one that stays with us forever. It’s a privilege to share these moments with you, and I know that no matter what happens, We Will Survive and thrive, as we always do, with heads held high and hearts full of song. We LIVE for moments like these. Let’s go out there and show the world who we are!

“Everything A!"

This has been the chorus mantra for the last 18 months.  And how we have endeavored to live up to that aspiration!  We have attended coaching sessions, extra rehearsals, duet rehearsals, early choreo, “garage sessions” at Meg’s, and so many pod rehearsals!  In addition, so many of us have been tracking our miles and increasing our fitness and stamina – I stand in awe of what a group of dedicated members can do!

As your Kansas City Competition Coordinator, I want to take this opportunity to thank all of those who helped me, and you, get to Kansas City: Kathy W, Lisa B, Deb K, Jennifer F and Sue C and, of course, our CMT and DMT, who ensured we had the tools and resources necessary to be “Everything A!”
